Follow Jesus

Jesus invites you into a whole new way of life.

Jesus Makes Us New

The Gospel isn’t an invitation to become a better version of yourself. It’s an invitation to new life.

Romans 6 tells us that through Jesus, the old life marked by sin and death no longer has the final word. Jesus died and rose again so that we could be forgiven, set free, and “live a new life.”

Following Jesus begins by trusting Him, His death for our sin, His victory over death, and His grace to make us new.

“Just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”
- Romans 6:4

Come, Follow Me.

Jesus didn’t simply invite people to believe something about Him. He invited them to follow Him.

“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”
- Matthew 4:19

That invitation still shapes what it means to be a disciple today.

Following Jesus is a lifelong journey of being with Him, becoming like Him, and doing what He did.

You Don’t Have to Figure It Out Alone

Following Jesus was never meant to happen alone. Whether you’re ready to put your trust in Jesus, have questions about faith, or simply want to understand what following Him looks like, we’d love to sit down, hear your story, and walk with you.

Following Jesus begins with trusting who Jesus is and what He has done for us through His death and resurrection. But it doesn’t stop with believing something about Jesus. He invites us into a whole new way of life, learning to be with Him, become like Him, and do what He did

There isn’t a checklist that earns us God’s love. We respond to His grace by learning the way of Jesus, spending time with Him, learning His Word, praying, living in community, serving others, and sharing the hope we’ve found. These practices don’t make Jesus love us more; they help form us into people who look more like Him.

Jesus doesn’t simply make us better; He makes us new. Romans 6 describes an old life being buried and a new life beginning. That transformation happens over a lifetime as the Holy Spirit changes our hearts, desires, relationships, priorities, and the way we live.

You don’t need to clean yourself up or have everything figured out. Following Jesus begins by trusting Him and responding to His invitation: “Come, follow me.” If you’re ready, or even if you’re just trying to understand what that means, we’d love to sit down, hear your story, and help you take that next step. Or simply respond during the invitation at the end of every service.

Baptism is one of the first steps Jesus gives those who choose to follow Him. In baptism, we identify with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, our old life is buried and we are raised to walk in new life. If you’re considering baptism, one of our pastors would love to talk with you about what it means and help you prepare for that step.
