LIFE GROUPS
Deep down inside we know that it’s not good to always be alone. For most of us, it’s still much easier to keep our heads down and build a life with few close relationships. We are often told that if we just dig a little deeper and pick ourselves up by the bootstraps, life will get better. Still, as we seek time alone, something seems to be missing.
We believe God has created us for something more than that. Our journey through life isn’t one that we need to walk alone. At Jessamine, we are actively working to join people together into Life Groups. Each group meets for study, prayer, and community.

Prayer Groups
JCC firmly believes that our church must be grounded in prayer. Not only is prayer one of our core beliefs and practices, but it also serves as a key building block for spiritual growth and maturity—essentially for our spiritual health. As Christians, we are expected to follow Christ’s example, and Jesus demonstrated His need for prayer consistently throughout the Gospels. He rose early in the morning to pray, He prayed as He traveled from city to city, and He continually sought solitary time to commune with His Father.
JCC has 13 separate prayer teams assigned for prayer one week out of each quarter. If you are interested in being on a prayer team, please contact the office for more information.
