Christ

On Christmas Eve, we gather to celebrate the moment light broke into the darkness. The Gospel of John reminds us that Jesus is not just part of the Christmas story, He is the story. The Word became flesh and stepped into our world, bringing life, grace, and truth to a place desperate for hope.
This night proclaims a powerful truth: the light of Christ doesn’t avoid the darkness, it enters it. In Jesus, God came near, dwelling among us as Immanuel, God with us. And no matter how deep the darkness may feel, it cannot overcome the light He brings.
As we light the Christ Candle, we’re reminded that darkness does not win. Hope has a name. Light has come. And His name is Jesus.
